About Me

I am a seasoned social sector leader with deep experience in equity, justice, and change management. My career has spanned philanthropy, community organizing, communications, fundraising, and social sector consulting. I have a track record of designing, building, and adapting philanthropic and nonprofit program strategies; motivating teams to realize shared goals; developing effective and efficient teams; and building trust-based relationships across multiple stakeholder perspectives. I was co-founder and President of Team Dynamics from 2017 - 2023.

Prior to that I worked at the Minnesota Council on Foundations, the Bush Foundation, Minnesotans United for All Families, PFund Foundation, and OutFront MN. I have worked with dozens of social sector leaders and teams to hone their race and gender equity capacity.

I am a co-author of the book Hiring Revolution: A Guide to Disrupt Racism + Sexism with Trina C. Olson. I’m a qualified administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI), a recipient of the St. Paul Foundation Facing Race anti-racism award, and a Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal 40 Under 40 awardee. I am a renter in Northeast Minneapolis where I live with my boyfriend David.
